In 2016, the study of a hiking network was carried out on the island of Kasos, an island that combines authentic natural beauty with a rich cultural tradition. The implementation of the network took place in the summer of 2022, while in 2023 it was expanded with the addition of cycling routes, offering even more options for activities in nature.
The Kasos Trails network consists of a series of marked routes that cover every corner of the island. Through these trails, visitors can discover beautiful natural landscapes, traditional chapels and monasteries, windmills, as well as picturesque rural landscapes. Each route offers a magnificent view and brings the visitor in contact with the authentic culture and civilization of the island.
Hiking and cycling routes highlight the rich geology of Kasos and its unique beaches, while allowing visitors to explore both the coastal and mountainous areas of the island. Through the Kasos Trails, travelers can get to know Kasos from end to end, discovering its every hidden corner.
Paths of Greece designed and implemented the Kasos Trails project in collaboration with the Municipality of Kasos, contributing to the promotion of sustainable development on the island.

Part of the project promotion was the brochure map shown above, as well as a website and free digital maps in the Avenza Maps app.
