In 2012, the first set of trails on Kythera have been opened to the public. Paths of Greece designed the trails network, cleared the trails, sign-posted them and worked on the promotion of one of the first completed hiking trails networks of Greece, Kythera Hiking.
Updates
In 2019 we conducted a study to add more trails to the initial 32km network.
In 2023 we implemented those extra trails bringing the hiking network to 101km.
In 2024, Cycling routes have been added by Paths of Greece on the island
In 2025, we renewed the Kythera Trails website and App
