In 2019 we studied a network of hiking trails with the title Pertouli Trails in the area of the same name in Trikala. In 2022, this network was implemented, consisting of 3 different paths, starting and ending in Pertouli square. It passes through the most important points of environmental and cultural interest in the area, including the British Headquarters, the Metamorfosi tou Sotiros church, the Agia Kyriaki church, river Pertouliotis and of course the impressive and dense forest, which belongs to the School of Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Paths of Greece designed and implemented the Pertouli Trails project on behalf of the Fund for the Administration and Management of University Forests, of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Part of the promotion of the project was the map-leaflet shown above, as well as a website and mobile phone app, which have now been discontinued.
For more information, find the routes of Pertouli on the Outdooractive website.
