In 2015, we collaborated with the Municipality of Sifnos to upgrade the trails network of the island. At the biginning we found a scattered network, with many types of waymarks and signs, and with no marketing at all. We re-designed the trails network so that it fulfills the needs of the hikers, we created loop trails and linked the paths to the villages and the bus stops. We have also waymarked and signposted the trails with one type of signs. Finally, we did work on the promotion and marketing of Sifnos Trails. We started working on a trails network of 65km of length and delivered a little more than 100km!

Updates

2016: We brought Sifnos to a Swedish hiking fair
2017: We brought Sifnos to the Salon du Randonneur Fair in Lyon
2018: Sifnos signed a Friendship Trail agreement with the Jeju Olle
2023: We brought Sifnos the the Salon du Randonneur Fair in Lyon
2024: We restored the signage on the island
